Long Way Home is hiring an Volunteer/Outreach Coordinator! Gain hands on experience working in Guatemala for a sustainable development nonprofit. Must be good with people, and have a positive, can do attitude. Must be able to read and speak proficient Spanish. Previous marketing/fundraising experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right person! Must be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, multi-tasker who can work hard and motivate while green building, coordinate and socialize with others, assist with social media, graphic design, writing, and other administrative tasks thrown their way. Flexibility and a sense of humor are required for living and working in rural, rustic conditions. Must be able to walk up and down hills at a high elevation. This is a great opportunity to participate and grow in grassroots development work and NGO management, while changing the way waste is perceived. Monthly living stipend and shared housing provided.
