The Rubbish to Runway ReFashion Show began as a yearly fundraiser held outside of Boston, Massachusetts in support of Long Way Home (LWH). In 2014, the show was dedicated to Miss Vanessa Morales, a LWH supporter who passed away in a tragic auto accident just shy of her 25th birthday. Vanessa's twin sister, Yessenia, inspired by her attendance at the Boston event that year and her visit to our campus in Guatemala in 2015, is hosting, for the second year in a row, the R2R Houston!

R2R and LWH share a common purpose, which is to promote sustainability in design and construction. The R2R event showcases runway-worthy fashions made from waste, upcycled and recycled materials. This year's Houston event will focus on raising funds to finish our campus critical buildings as well as the Vanessa Morales Scholarship for Girls Education.

When: Sunday, July 17, 2016 @ 4:00PM

Where: Talento Bilingue de Houston, 333 S Jensen Dr, Houston 77003

Tickets will go on sale in June. To get a preview of what the night has in store for you, check out the video from last year's show in Houston.
